As an associate attorney in Higgs Fletcher & Mack’s civil litigation practice group, Ms. Schroedter specializes in commercial law, with an emphasis in business litigation and bankruptcy. She has broad experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial litigation and contract disputes, successfully navigating insolvency issues and working with both large corporations and small businesses, individuals, and families.
One of San Diego’s rising stars, Ms. Schroedter was selected by her peers as a San Diego Daily Transcript Young Attorney Finalist in 2012. This award goes to the most knowledgeable, hardworking, and enthusiastic young lawyers. Helping her community and the industry alike, Ms. Schroedter serves as Chair of the Equality and Action Committee of Lawyers Club of San Diego and is an active member of several professional committees in San Diego. She also serves on the Women’s Resource Fair Task Force and is an Associate of the Honorable William B. Enright Chapter of the American Inns of Court.
Ms. Schroedter graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics and earned Dean’s List Honors at the Warrington College of Business. She earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where she was a member of the Public Interest Law Journal. During law school, she served as a law clerk at Partners HealthCare, a non-profit, integrated health system founded by Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Prior to joining Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 2010, she also worked at the U.S. Consulate General, in Milan, Italy. When she’s not working hard for her clients, or volunteering in the community, you can find her taking advantage of the San Diego lifestyle with yoga, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, or running.
