Recently deceased HFM Partner Craig Higgs and Of Counsel attorney Douglas Butz were also named to the list. In addition, Partner Edwin Boniske and attorneys Jacob T. Spaid, Joshua Katz, Rachel Moffitt, Kyle Nageotte, Maggie Schroedter and Geoffrey Thorne were named “Rising Stars” for 2019.

Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators, which include criteria such as verdicts/settlements, experience, honors/awards, special licenses/certifications, and pro bono and community service.

Each year, the prestigious industry accolades are awarded to the top lawyers on a state-by-state basis. “Rising Stars” are lawyers that are 40 years old or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less.
