American College of Transportation Attorneys Elects Five New Members

Atlanta, G.A. (March 18, 2016) — The American College of Transportation Attorneys (ACTA) is pleased to announce that Lynn Castagna, David M. Duke, Virginia L. Price, Henry E. Seaton and Michael P. Sharp have been elected to membership effective February 22, 2016.

“On behalf of ACTA, we are very pleased to add such well-respected transportation attorneys to our roster,” said Robert Moseley, Chairman. “Lynn, David, Virginia, Hank and Mike are leaders in our field and known for both their excellent client service and commitment to the industry. We look forward to partnering with them in continuing to serve as a valuable resource to the trucking industry.”

Lynn Castagna is a partner with Castagna Scott LLP in Austin, TX. Her practice is focused on personal injury defense, with an emphasis on trucking and transportation litigation, premises liability, products liability, HOA litigation, construction litigation, and general liability. Castagna represents individuals and businesses throughout Texas. She received her J.D. from St. Mary’s University and dual bachelor degrees from Southern Methodist University.

David Duke has practiced with Young Moore & Henderson, PA in Raleigh, NC since he graduated from law school in 1984. He chairs the firm’s Trucking and Transportation Practice Group and is vice-chair of the practice management committee. Duke concentrates on complex civil litigation, with a particular focus on transportation defense, product liability and business litigation. Upon receiving his undergraduate degree from The College of William and Mary, Duke went on to receive his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Virginia Price is a partner in the Transportation and Litigation Practice Groups at Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP in San Diego, CA. Her practice is focused on transportation litigation matters including catastrophic loss claims, employment liability and cargo liability. She received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Mary Baldwin College, cum laude.

Hank Seaton is a partner with Seaton & Husk, LP in Vienna, VA. Seaton’s practice focuses on transportation, federal regulations, compliance issues, contracts, commercial litigation and bankruptcy. He is the recipient of the 2014 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Transportation Lawyers Association. Seaton received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.

Mike Sharp, a partner with Fee, Smith, Sharp & Vitullo LLP, focuses his practice on a broad range of matters from transportation, construction liability and defects and labor/employment to premises liability and property management. Sharp serves as state and regional counsel for several motor carrier, retailer and property management clients. He received both his J.D. and undergraduate degrees from Louisiana State University.
