AnneElise Goetz Selected as a New Fellow to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys

San Diego – April 11, 2018 – Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM), one of San Diego’s premier business law firms, announced today Partner AnneElise Goetz was selected as a new Fellow to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys (ACMA). Goetz is one of 29 total attorneys chosen in North America this year.

The ACMA is a national organization that selects real estate finance attorneys based on their exceptional legal skills and qualifications, commitment to giving back to the legal profession and their community, and outstanding reputation for excellence, integrity and collegiality.

The election process is rigorous with only the most highly-qualified real estate finance experts in the country admitted each year. AnneElise was selected for the complex and significant loan transactions she has led, her strong leadership and commitment to her community, as well as her prominent national media presence. In 2017 alone, AnneElise was lead Borrower’s counsel on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loans totally in excessive of $54,500,000 and was lead Borrower’s counsel on a $217,000,000 Credit Facility. AnneElise’s expertise in the borrower side CMBS market has set her apart from other real estate financing attorneys and made her sought after counsel in complex real estate mortgage transactions throughout California.

In addition to her legal practice, AnneElise is an active member of the community and focuses on empowering young women to seek leadership roles in law, government and business. As past Chair of the Leadership Development Committee in Lawyers Club, she helped women develop leadership skills and cultivate future civic leaders. Goetz is also a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s IMPACT program, which educates individuals about issues that affect the region and how to be engaged leaders in the community.

Goetz specializes in real estate, finance and health care law. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin Madison, where she was recently recognized as one of eight alumni who received the Forward Under 40 Award. She received her law degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law.  As a distinguished expert in her field, Goetz can also be seen on CNN and HLN as an on-camera legal expert.
