Mr. Tetrault focuses his practice on representing sellers, buyers, financial institutions, borrowers, developers, landlords and tenants in the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of transactional matters involving matters that include:
- Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions and Dispositions;
- 1031 Exchanges;
- Development, Financing and Leasing; and
- Formation of Real Estate Investment Entities.
Mr. Tetrault represents individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships in transactional business and tax-related matters involving general business counseling, entity choice and formation, mergers and acquisitions, dissolutions, reorganizations, and restructurings. He also has represented creditors and debtors in creditors’ rights and insolvency-related matters, including workouts and bankruptcy cases under Chapters 11 and 7.
Previously, Mr. Tetrault was an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law where he taught Appellate Advocacy, an advanced legal writing course. Mr. Tetrault also prepared and presented Ground Leases: A Drafting Perspective at LSI’s quarterly conference in Yosemite in February 2016.
