Kele Bigknife is an associate attorney practicing in the firm’s litigation department. He represents individuals and companies in a variety of substantive areas, including business, tort, construction, intellectual property, and transportation matters.
Mr. Bigknife started his legal career as an Intern at Higgs Fletcher & Mack where he researched and composed memoranda on various legal issues, such as commercial contracts, federal Indian law, and personal injury disputes. Following graduation, Mr. Bigknife was hired as a Post-Bar Law Clerk where he provided valuable litigation support by performing comprehensive legal research, and drafting motions and pleadings.
Mr. Bigknife is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a member of the Editorial Board for the Michigan Business and Entrepreneurial Law Review. During his time in law school, Mr. Bigknife was a student attorney for the Michigan Veterans Legal Clinic, representing veterans and their immediate families in civil legal matters. As a native San Diegan, he enjoys scuba diving in his spare time.
