Maggie E. Schroedter is a Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy Attorney, with special emphasis on bankruptcy appeals.
Ms. Schroedter’s in-depth knowledge of insolvency law, combined with unique and substantial experience in the area of bankruptcy appellate work, and careful attention to issue selection and analysis, provides her clients – both individuals and attorneys – with knowledgeable and effective representation on appeal.
Ms. Schroedter’s appellate practice focuses on substantive motion work at both the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit’s Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. She also represents individual business owners, their companies, investors, and creditors in complex business disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, intentional business torts, real estate, and preference and fraudulent transfer matters.
Ms. Schroedter was also recognized as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2017, 2018, and 2019, was selected by the American Bar Association On the Rise – Top 40 Young Lawyer, and recognized by the San Diego Magazine as a “Rising Star” in 2018. Ms. Schroedter serves on the Board of Directors of Lawyers Club of San Diego, an organization dedicated to advancing the status of women in the law and society, and also as President of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum for 2019.
