Licensed in California and Mexico, Mariana Acedo is a part of Higgs Fletcher and Mack’s Corporate & Securities, Real Estate and Health Care Law practice groups.
She represents clients in a variety of corporate matters, including entity formation, governance, reorganizations, compliance, cross-border transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and purchases and sales of a variety of businesses and business entities. She also assists medical practice groups with their continued governance requirements.
In addition, Ms. Acedo has extensive experience advising and representing U.S. and foreign clients who are buying and selling real estate in Mexico. She also has experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate purchase and sale agreements.
Ms. Acedo graduated with a B.A. in Law from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. During her time in law school, Ms. Acedo participated at the University of San Diego Entrepreneurship Clinic providing business counsel to startups and other emerging growth companies. Additionally, she was a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (VICAM) Team.
Ms. Acedo is licensed to practice law in both California and Mexico.
