Jessica Lujan is an associate in the firm’s business and tort litigation practice group.
Prior to joining Higgs Fletcher & Mack, Ms. Lujan worked at a personal injury law firm and as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Escondido. There, she independently managed and oversaw her cases from inception to completion and gained extensive experience with law and motion matters.
Ms. Lujan earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, she interned at the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office and later worked as a Post-Bar Law Clerk at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office where she assisted the Homicides Unit and the misdemeanor trial team. Additionally, at the University of San Diego School of Law, she received the CALI Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law and was a teacher’s assistant for Torts and Constitutional Law. She served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Maria Salas-Mendoza for Texas District Court 120.
Ms. Lujan is fluent in both French and Spanish. Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her daughter and Latin ballroom dancing.
