Samuel Baxter’s litigation practice spans several areas, including personal injury, business law, healthcare law and products liability.
Mr. Baxter’s knowledgeable and empathetic approach is derived from his background working in-house for major companies. He previously served as associate general counsel for Metabolife International, Inc., a dietary supplement company based in San Diego. In that role, he managed massive litigation projects, coordinated over 500 unique lawsuits in 30 states on issues of torts, products liability, anti-trust, unfair competition, employment and breach of contract.
Currently, his practice centers on civil tort, health care law, and business litigation. His experience includes mass tort and products liability, personal injury, employment and discrimination litigation, trademark and unfair competition litigation, and bankruptcy. He has played a key role in coordinating the successful defense of a dietary supplemental manufacturer and its officers in over 30 product liability cases.
