SAN DIEGO (October 28, 2019): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) partner Laura Buckley was named one of the San Diego Business Journal’s “Leaders in Law.” She was recognized at a ceremony hosted by the publication on October 24th.
Buckley is a California Certified Specialist in Taxation and a recognized leader in tax law throughout California and beyond. She is the 2020 Chair-Elect of the California Lawyers Association’s Taxation Section and currently serves as Vice-Chair on its Executive Committee. Her statewide leadership in tax law also includes serving as Chair of the Young Tax Lawyers for the California State Bar Association’s Taxation Section and as Vice Chair of the Corporate and Pass-Through Committee. Buckley is also Past Chair of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Tax Section, and she teaches advanced business planning at the University of San Diego School of Law.
The San Diego Business Journal solicited nominations from across the county in compiling its “Leaders in Law” list. Laura was selected among over 100 finalists in a variety of practice areas.
