Higgs Fletcher & Mack Adds Robert W. Lincoln to Business Litigation Practice Group

SAN DIEGO – September 17, 2018 – Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM), a San Diego-based, full-service law firm, announced the addition of Robert W. Lincoln to the Business Litigation practice group.

Lincoln represents businesses and management in all aspects of litigation in labor and employment disputes. Prior to joining HFM, Lincoln practiced at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP.

Lincoln served five years in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, attaining the rank of Captain. As a Judge Advocate, Lincoln served as prosecutor for the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and subsequently defense counsel, representing soldiers throughout California, Hawaii, and Nevada. In both roles, Lincoln served as lead counsel in more than 30 felony and misdemeanor court martial actions and adverse administrative hearings.

“Adding Robert to our Business Litigation practice group will serve our clients well,” said Steve Cologne, HFM managing partner. “He has distinguished himself through his work as a military attorney and subsequent professional experience in the private sector. We’re fortunate to add Robert to our team.”

While at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, he was awarded the President’s Scholarship, a full-tuition scholarship. Lincoln served as third-year class representative to the student government. He participated in moot court as a member of the Giles Sutherland Intellectual Property Team. He was also involved in the New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition.
