SAN DIEGO (February 22, 2022): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome attorney Kimberly Keen, who joined the Firm today and will be a part of HFM’s Family Law Practice Group.

Keen served as a legal extern for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Principal Legal Advisor. She garnered experience in family law as an HFM intern and as a volunteer law clerk for the San Diego Superior Court’s Family Law Facilitator’s Office, in addition to working for a San Diego-based boutique family law firm.

“Kimberly Keen’s passion for family law and her experience in this area will be a great addition to HFM’s family law practice,” said Steve Cologne, HFM’s Managing Partner. “We are excited to welcome Kimberly, and we are confident she will contribute to the strength of the Firm.”

As an undergraduate student at the University of California Los Angeles, Keen worked with local organizations to provide health and human services to families in rural Guatemala. After earning a bachelor’s degree, Keen earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was recognized for her pro bono service upon her graduation. Keen is currently a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and its Family Law Section, and the Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights.
