SAN DIEGO (April 20, 2023): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome three new attorneys: Jennifer Griffin, Kimia Kojouri, and Joe Yelda. Griffin will be a part of the Employment and Transportation Law Practice Groups. Kojouri will join HFM’s Family Law Practice Group, and Yelda will practice as a part of the firm’s Transportation Law Practice Group. Kojouri and Yelda joined the firm on April 17, and Griffin will begin on April 24.

Griffin’s litigation experience includes defending businesses, professionals and individuals involved in civil and commercial litigation. Her work has also included contract drafting and counseling clients on regulatory compliance and risk management. She is licensed to practice law in both California and Hawaii. Griffin earned her law degree from the University of California, Davis.

In her practice, Kojouri handles all aspects of family law and has considerable experience representing clients in high-conflict cases. She held an externship at the Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, and also garnered experience working at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office at the Santa Clara County Family Justice Center prior to working in private practice. Kojouri earned her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law

Yelda has represented clients in insurance coverage disputes and uninsured/underinsured motorists claims with a focus on transportation and rideshare companies. He held law clerk positions with both the California Innocence Project and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Like Kojouri, Yelda earned his law degree from California Western School of Law.
