Alexis Gutierrez wins big for MemorialCare Health System, an Orange and Los Angeles County-based hospital system, defeating the proposed class certification sought of 60,000+ members, and threatened multi-million dollar claim. After 2 years, Alexis defeated a motion for class certification brought against Orange and LA County-based hospital system, MemorialCare, for alleged violations of California’s Unfair Competition law and the Consumer Legal Remedy Act (CLRA). The case is captioned Terrazas, et al. v. Memorial Health Services.
