Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) welcomes Kevin Wheeler to the Firm as a Partner in HFM’s Securities Regulation and Enforcement, and Employment practice groups.

Wheeler is an experienced corporate and litigation attorney with over 20 years of experience.  He returns to HFM after spending the past seven years as in-house General Counsel, advising C-suite executives in three broker dealer firms on all legal and regulatory issues.

Wheeler’s practice covers broker-dealer regulatory and enforcement matters, investment advisor regulation and compliance, data protection and privacy, and securities arbitrations. He will also be part of the HFM Employment Group providing advice and representing clients in complex litigation matters. He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly Pomona.

Higgs Fletcher & Mack is also pleased to announce attorney Ethan Shakoori has joined the Firm’s Healthcare Law, Tax Law and Bankruptcy practice groups. Shakoori earned his Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law and recently passed the California Bar Exam. He previously served as both an intern and law clerk at the Firm.
