SAN DIEGO (January 8, 2025): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome new Director of Human Resources Emilie Luck, effective January 2, 2025. Luck succeeds long time HFM Director of Human Resources Tina Brunhart, who retired at the end of 2024.

Prior to joining HFM, Luck served as the Director of Human Resources for multi-state law firm McCarthey Holthus LLP. Luck was responsible for overseeing all human resources functions for the firm and its various affiliated companies, comprised of 500 employees globally. In this role, she focused on organizational development, performance engagement, policy, compliance, risk, culture, investigations and staffing and benefits. Earlier in her career, Luck was an independent consultant and served in a variety of director roles for several San Diego-based companies.

I am confident that she will make a positive impact.” Luck has a diverse educational background, having studied holistic health and counseling under the renowned Psychologist and Therapist Dr. Barry Green. She is certified in DISC training programs and authorized to conduct organizational harassment training in accordance with government regulations. Additionally, Luck is a certified yoga instructor.
