Jason Kandah brings significant litigation experience to HFM’s Trusts & Estates practice, combined with considerable experience in the financial sector.
Before beginning his legal career, Mr. Kandah spent over a decade in the banking industry, including serving as Vice President for JP Morgan Chase & Company. His law practice has focused on a broad range of complex litigation, including appeals, in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Kandah’s litigation experience includes prosecuting financial crimes, and he was appointed as National Monitoring Counsel, overseeing 53 active cases. He also has experience in products liability, employment and labor law (PAGA), environmental, banking and finance, elder financial abuse, real estate/landlord-tenant, medical malpractice, business and corporate law, white collar crime, and class action cases.
He earned his law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and previously earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. Mr. Kandah is actively involved in the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
