Higgs Fletcher & Mack hosted an alumni reunion aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier on September 13th. The event was attended by more than 250 past and present employees of the firm and the firm of McInnis, Fitzgerald, Rees & Sharkey which merged with Higgs Fletcher & Mack in 1999. Among those attending was Patti Cooksey, a retired legal secretary with the firm for 41 years, and Joe Turner a retired partner with the firm for 33 years. Former attorneys came from as far as Boise, Idaho and Tucson, Arizona and former secretaries attended from Oregon and Sacramento. Mariachis played in the background while the attendees renewed old acquaintances and shared stories about their experiences with the firm.
