Scott Ingold is an estate and trust litigation partner licensed in both California and Nevada.
Mr. Ingold assists in probate matters and handles all aspects of trust and estate litigation, including pre-filing negotiations, trials, and appeals.
Mr. Ingold has developed a reputation for delivering favorable results to his clients while effectively managing risk. When meeting with clients, he works to understand their needs and concerns. Only then does he engage in a conversation where they establish realistic goals and expectations together.
He has litigated matters in state and federal courts, in jury and bench trials, and in binding arbitrations. He has also argued numerous cases in appellate courts. Prior to focusing his practice on trust and estate litigation, Mr. Ingold maintained a wide-ranging litigation practice, including business and employment disputes, products and premise liability, and insurance bad faith issues.
Mr. Ingold was elected to the Board of Directors for the Probate Attorneys of San Diego. He is one of the authors of the San Diego Probate Handbook, and has presented at various forums, including the American Bar Association Tax Section meeting and the National Business Institute Estate Planning Seminar.
Mr. Ingold has been named to the San Diego Super Lawyers® list from 2020- 2023. He was also named a San Diego “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers® from 2015 to 2017. While attending California Western School of Law, he won first place in the Gill Oral Advocacy Competition. He also served as Editor-in-Chief of the California Western International Law Journal and he received the Outstanding Associate Award from that journal and the California Western Law Review.
