Molly Teas defends injury actions in a variety of civil and commercial litigation, including against transportation companies, premises owners, and federally recognized Indian tribes.
Ms. Teas’ practice primarily focuses on the transportation industry, where she defends trucking and rideshare companies in personal injury litigation. She also has experience representing clients in premises and product liability cases.
In addition, Ms. Teas is admitted to the Intertribal Court of Southern California where she defends local, federally recognized Indian tribes in injury and premises liability cases. As part of the firm’s Trust & Estates Practice Group, Ms. Teas also represents individuals in trust litigation.
Ms. Teas is actively involved in ALFA International, a global network of law firms, where she is an integral part of both the organization’s Transportation and Future Leaders practice groups. She is also involved in San Diego’s local legal community, as a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, San Diego Defense Lawyers, Lawyers Club of San Diego, the Louis Welsh Inn of Court, and the San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Teas was named Outstanding New Attorney by San Diego Defense Lawyers, and will be installed as a member of its Board of Directors in January 2024.
As a law student at the University of San Diego School of Law (USD), Ms. Teas was awarded the “Best Trial Lawyer” by the Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL) for her performance in the organization’s mock trial competition. In 2023, Ms. Teas was named Outstanding New Attorney by San Diego Defense Lawyers.
