SAN DIEGO (June 14, 2023): Attorney Kathryn Callaghan has joined Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) and will be a part of the firm’s Business Litigation and Transportation Law practice groups.

Callaghan’s litigation experience includes representing clients in personal injury and professional negligence matters. She has also facilitated large settlements for clients, and her experience includes motion practice and preparing mediation briefs.

“We are excited to welcome Kathryn to the firm, and expand our Business Litigation and Transportation Law practices,” said Jim Peterson, HFM’s Managing Partner. “I am looking forward to all that Kathryn will accomplish as a part of the HFM team.”

Callaghan earned her law degree from California Western School of Law, where she was a member of the Appellate Moot Court Team. She received the 2021 Competitive Advocacy Program Scholarship and also received the American Jurisprudence Award, an award for academic achievement, in Criminal Law Theory and Appellate Advocacy. Callaghan was also a teaching fellow and tutor for Torts II students.

Prior to attending law school, Callaghan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. She also interned for the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General.
