AnneElise Goetz has a sophisticated transactional practice, with a focus on health care law, real estate law, and general corporate law. She is a trusted partner for a variety of businesses, where she serves as their outside general counsel to help navigate complex business deals and transactions.
In the health care area, Ms. Goetz represents physicians and medical groups in a broad array of matters, ranging from shareholder and partnership agreements to mergers and acquisitions to the structuring of Management Service Organizations and related documentation. She routinely negotiates physician/hospital affiliations and transactions, including professional services agreements with medical foundations, and she provides strategic guidance to health care clients on corporate governance and regulatory issues governing physicians, medical groups and other providers.
Her real estate work includes real property acquisitions and sales, commercial property leasing, and succession planning for closely held businesses. Her practice also includes advising borrowers on real estate financing transactions, including acquisition, development and construction loans. Ms. Goetz has been admitted as a fellow in the prestigious American College of Mortgage Attorneys for her work in borrower financing.
In her free time, Ms. Goetz is a strong advocate for children in the foster care system, and her community leadership includes serving as the Chairman of the Board and Director for Voices for Children, an organization that matches children in the foster care system with volunteer advocates. She is a graduate of LEAD San Diego’s IMPACT program, which is dedicated to educating the leaders of San Diego on the issues and challenges impacting the region.
