Ryan M. Simone

Attorney Ryan Simone is a member of Higgs Fletcher & Mack’s Business Litigation and Health Care Law practice groups.

His practice primarily concerns areas of complex civil litigation and defense of healthcare providers, national healthcare entities, and medical treatment centers. Most recently, Mr. Simone successfully second-chaired a four-week trial and obtained a complete defense verdict for an OB/GYN physician regarding the issues of Professional Medical Negligence and Lack of Informed Consent.

Admitted to practice law both in the state of California and in Texas, Mr. Simone has further experience in catastrophic personal injury matters. Notably, Mr. Simone has successfully obtained over $29 million representing traumatic brain injury claimants. Additionally, Mr. Simone has favorably resolved multiple matters as defense counsel on summary judgment for waiver of costs.  Mr. Simone also has represented clients in general commercial and business litigation matters including, among others, breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation, misappropriation of trade secrets, insurance bad faith, and product liabilities cases in both State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Simone is also actively involved in the San Diego legal community and is a member of The Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court. Mr. Simone serves on the Leadership Development Committee of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, San Diego Chapter.

In his free time, Mr. Simone enjoys fantasy football, March Madness bracket pools, and faithfully supporting the Fresno State Bulldogs. He also actively skis, surfs and participates in local trivia events.
