SAN DIEGO – August 29, 2016 – Higgs Fletcher & Mack, a San Diego-based, full-service law firm for over 75 years, announced today it contributed $5,000 to the San Diego Public Library Foundation.

Earlier this month, Higgs Fletcher & Mack and the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group Chair, Alexis Gutierrez, made a $5,000 donation to the San Diego Public Library Foundation.

sdplfoundationlogoLaunched in 2002, the Foundation was created when a group of community leaders joined to focus their energy and attention on providing private support to build an outstanding library system in San Diego. Since then, the organization has raised more than $120 million in private funds to augment and support library programs, collections, expansion and services.

“As San Diego’s oldest law firm, it’s important that we continue to give back to the community. The Foundation provides resources and programs that benefit young learners and teens while also offering more than 11,000 complimentary cultural, educational and literary events annually,” said Henry Angelino, executive director at Higgs Fletcher & Mack. “In addition, the Central Library is in our backyard so this is a great organization that we are thrilled to support.”
