Justina Robinson is an attorney in HFM’s Health Care Practice Group, where she represents healthcare professionals and organizations in complex civil litigation matters.

Prior to joining HFM, Ms. Robinson served as a Deputy Attorney General with the California Attorney General’s Office, where she managed an independent litigation caseload representing correctional healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, in federal civil rights actions. Her experience included drafting responsive and dispositive pleadings, conducting depositions, managing discovery, preparing settlement requests and assisting with complex healthcare class action litigation.

Ms. Robinson earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, where she served as Senior Editor of the California Western International Law Journal after previously serving as an Associate Writer. During law school, Ms. Robinson served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Linda Lopez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and as a law clerk in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. Ms. Robinson received several academic honors, including recognition as a 2025 ChangeLawyersNextGen Scholar and recipient of the National Black Prosecutors Foundation Arthur L. Burnett, Sr. Scholarship. Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. Robinson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Anthropology, with a minor in Journalism, from the University of California, Berkeley.
