SAN DIEGO (September 1, 2026): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome attorneys Rachel Raffield and Nicole Saab to the firm. Raffield is a part of the firm’s Transportation Practice Group and Saab is part of HFM’s Business Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining HFM, Raffield represented clients in breach of contract actions, partnership disputes, fraud claims, professional negligence matters and other business-related litigation. Her experience includes conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions and briefs, and representing clients in depositions, court hearings and mediations. During law school, Raffield gained experience through an internship with the California Innocence Project, where she assisted attorneys investigating and litigating cases involving claims of factual innocence. She earned her law degree from California Western School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Northern Arizona University.

Saab has experience representing clients in matters involving personal injury, complex construction defects, property damage, premises liability and breach of contract. She has managed cases throughout all stages of litigation, including drafting and defending motions, conducting discovery, taking depositions, negotiating settlements and representing clients in mediations. Her experience also includes drafting motions for summary judgment, demurrers and motions to compel. Saab earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was selected as a San Diego County Bar Association Diversity Fellow. She previously earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science–International Studies from the University of California, San Diego. Saab is fluent in English, French and Arabic and has basic proficiency in Spanish.
