Sydney Stuhmer is part of HFM’s Family Law practice and has experience drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda across a broad range of civil litigation matters.

She has managed all phases of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and reviewing document productions. Ms. Stuhmer also has experience working on trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and witness materials.

She earned her law degree from California Western School of Law and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from San Diego State University. During law school, Ms. Stuhmer gained valuable experience as a legal intern in the San Diego District Attorney’s Office’s Family Protection Unit. In 2024, she earned an Academic Award for Excellence in recognition of her outstanding academic performance in Trial Skills Training for Distinguished Advocates. Ms. Stuhmer also participated in the American Association for Justice’s Trial Competition as part of California Western’s Trial Team.
