Anna Burnett’s practice focuses on corporate and entity matters and real estate transactions.

Originally from the Midwest, Ms. Burnett moved to California in 2009 to attend California Western School of Law in downtown San Diego. After passing the bar, she practiced at a boutique business and IP firm in Carlsbad, preparing and filing trademark applications and advising clients on business and governance matters. Ms. Burnett utilized her legal background in a non-traditional manner as a real estate project manager at a San Diego-based real estate development and investment company. Her real-world experience gained from working in-house gives her a unique perspective and insight into her clients’ businesses and enables her to anticipate their needs. She is an innovative and versatile attorney, experienced in business planning, entity formation and maintenance, contract matters, and real estate transactions. Ms. Burnett was selected as a San Diego Super Lawyers® Rising Star in 2023.

Ms. Burnett grew up in Missouri but now lives in the University Heights neighborhood of San Diego with her husband. In her free time she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and learning German.
